Three Rivers Drilling, Tungsten Mining fined $600,000 after worker suffers traumatic head injuries

Two WA companies have been fined a total of $600,000 and ordered to pay $12,000 in costs after a worker suffered serious head injuries while trying to remove a drill rod.
Appearing in Perth Magistrates Court on Monday, Three Rivers Drilling and ASX-listed Tungsten Mining were each fined $300,000 and each ordered to pay $6000 in costs after pleading guilty to failing to provide and maintain a safe work environment.
